2 Pizza Dough Recipes For Those Who Enjoy Baking

pizza dough

Why need to make the dough for pizza by yourself if I can easily buy one in the nearest grocery store? That’s what many of you would like to ask when you see the title of the post. There is only one reason for doing it – the pleasure of becoming an almost professional cook for a couple of hours! If you have some free time at the weekend, you definitely need to try that. And it’s up to you what pizza you are going to make – a pepperoni, a margarita or a Hawaiian one.

Yeast dough
The yeast dough takes a little bit longer to make but it’s much softer than any other dough. This is the dough that our grannies and great grandmothers used to make.
Ingredients
  1. Milk 1 cup
  2. Sugar 3 tsp
  3. Dried yeast 1 packet
  4. Eggs 2
  5. Butter (softened) ¼ cup
  6. Salt 1 tsp
  7. Flour 3-4 cups

Instructions
  1. Warm the milk a little (make sure not to make it too hot) and add a teaspoon of sugar to it. Pour in the yeast and stir the mixture thoroughly until the yeast dissolves completely. Wait for 3-5 minutes for the foam to appear.
  2. Pour the mixture into a large bowl and stir in 2-3 tablespoons of flour. Add eggs, softened butter, sugar and salt, and stir thoroughly.
  3. Continue to stir and start gradually adding flour to the dough. When the dough gets too stiff to stir, begin kneading it with your hands. Add more flour until the dough stops being sticky.
  4. Leave the dough in a warm place for 60-90 minutes or until it doubles in size. Meanwhile, you can prepare other ingredients for the pizza.
  5. Do not leave the dough for too long as it will lose its thickness. Roll out the dough as soon as it is ready and make your pizza.

  2. Sugar 3 tsp
  3. Eggs 1-2
  4. Oil ¼ cup
