    Vegetarian Paella Recipe
    In summer, many people usually do not feel like eating heavy meals with meat, even if they are not vegetarians. This light paella will certainly remind you of hot days somewhere near the Mediterranean Sea! Imagine living at the seashore and enjoying the flavor of ripe vegetables grow in the sun.
    Ingredients
    1. Rice 5 1/2 oz
    2. Olive oil 3 tbsp
    3. Onion 1
    4. Garlic cloves 4
    5. Bell pepper 2
    6. Green beans 2 handfuls
    7. Tomatoes 2
    8. Black olives to taste
    9. Parsley to taste
    10. Pepper to taste
    11. Salt to taste
    12. Chili pepper to taste
    13. Vegetable broth 2 cups
    14. Paprika 1 tsp

    Instructions
    1. Heat the oil in a large pan, chop onion and garlic cloves and soften them for 5 minutes. Add rice and a few minutes later pour in vegetable broth. Simmer until rice absorbs all the broth.
    2. Meanwhile, prepare the vegetables. Peel tomatoes and dice them. Cut bell pepper, chili pepper and green beans. Stew the vegetables in a separate pan for 8-10 minutes, add paprika, pepper and salt.
    3. Add the vegetable to the rice and sprinkle with parsley. Keep aside for 10-15 minutes before serving.

  • Raspberry Pie with Apricots and Almonds

    Apricot Raspberry Pie Recipe
    Try this time-saving recipe which can suit both a special occasion and a peaceful family dinner. And July is a perfect time for such a pie when every grocery store is full of fresh fruits and berries!
    Ingredients
    1. Eggs 3
    2. Butter softened 6 oz
    3. Sugar 6 oz
    4. Salt to taste
    5. All-purpose flour 7 oz
    6. Vanilla sugar 1 tsp
    7. Starch 2 tbsp
    8. Almonds (or other nuts) 5 oz
    9. Baking powder 2-3 tsp
    10. Apricots 7 oz
    11. Raspberry 7 oz
    12. Almond flakes 4 tbsp

    Instructions
    1. Beat butter with sugar and vanilla sugar adding eggs one by one.
    2. In a separate bowl mix flour, salt, starch and baking powder.
    3. Chop almonds or other nuts and slice apricots.
    4. Pour in the dry mixture to the butter-eggy mixture and stir.
    5. Add nuts and one half of apricots to the dough.
    6. Pour the dough into a baking dish.
    7. Top the dough with the other half of apricots and raspberry. Sprinkle with almond flakes.
    8. Bake at 340-350°F for 50-60 minutes.
    9. Take the pie out of the dish, cool down and sprinkle with some powdered sugar.
