3 Healthy Porridge Ideas

Everyone knows that eating porridge for breakfast is healthy. But we would like to share with you three recipes that make porridge not only healthy but also delicious and surprising! Alternate them each morning and breakfast will turn into the favorite meal for your family.
 

Semolina Porridge Recipe
Ingredients
  1. Milk 1 cup
  2. Semolina flour 2 tbsp.
  3. Sugar 2 tsp.
  4. Peach 1/2
  5. Honey 1 tsp.
  6. Butter to taste

Instructions
  1. In a small bowl bring milk to a boil.
  2. Add semolina flour and sugar stirring constantly. Cook for 3 minutes and set aside (approximately for 15 minutes).
  3. Meanwhile chop some peach and stew it with a tablespoonful of water.
  4. Blend the peach with honey and add the puree to the porridge.
  5. Top with a small piece of butter before serving.

Millet Porridge in Apple
Ingredients
  1. Millet 2 oz.
  2. Water 0.3 cup
  3. Milk 1 cup
  4. Sugar to taste
  5. Apples 1-2

Instructions
  1. Pour in millet and water to a bowl and cook on low heat until the water evaporates.
  2. Gradually add milk stirring constantly.
  3. When the porridge thickens add sugar and cook for more 1-2 minutes.
  4. Cut the top off the apple, pierce it with a toothpick and bake for 10 minutes in an oven at 350 °F.
  5. Remove the core and fill it with porridge.

Cornmeal Porridge with Pumpkin
Ingredients
  1. Milk 1 cup
  2. Cornmeal 2 tbsp.
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Sugar to taste
  5. Pumpkin, boiled to taste
  6. Walnuts, finely chopped 1 tbsp.

Instructions
  1. In a small bowl bring milk to a boil.
  2. Add cornmeal flour, salt and sugar. Cook for 5 minutes stirring constantly and set aside (approximately for 10 minutes).
  3. Mix in some slices of boiled pumpkin and top with hazelnuts.
