Chocolate chip cookies
Chocolate chip cookies are one of the most popular sweets loved by everyone including children, grown-ups and the elderly. And the most pleasant thing about them is that they are very easy to make.
Ingredients
  1. Butter 1 cup
  2. Sugar 2 cups
  3. Flour 3 cups
  4. Baking soda 1 tsp
  5. Hot water 2 tsp
  6. Eggs 2
  7. Vanilla extract 2 tsp
  8. Chocolate chips (or chopped chocolate bar) 2 cups
  9. Chopped walnuts (or other nuts) 1 cup
  10. Salt ½ tsp

Instructions
  1. Warm butter a little to make it soft and beat it with sugar using a mixer. Add eggs one by one and vanilla extract. Stir the mixture.
  2. Dissolve baking soda in hot water and pour it into the mixture. Add salt.
  3. Stir in flour, nuts and chocolate chips.
  4. Oil the baking dish and put the dough on it in the form of small circles. Use your imagination and make cookies in the form of stars, hearts, triangles or other figures.
  5. Heat the oven to 350°F and bake the cookies for 10-15 minutes.

Italian cantucci

Ingredients
  1. Flour 4 cups
  2. Almonds 3 cups
  3. Sugar 2 cups
  4. Eggs 4
  5. Butter ½ cup
  6. Honey 2 tbsp
  7. Yeast 1 tbsp
  8. Vanilla sugar 1 tbsp
  9. Lemon 1
  10. Salt ½ tsp

Instructions
  1. Mix flour with yeast in a bowl and add eggs one by one. Stir the mixture.
  2. Grate lemon zest and add it to the bowl together with sugar and softened butter. Mix thoroughly.
  3. Stir in vanilla sugar, honey and salt, add almonds and put the mixture on the table.
  4. Knead the dough until you can form a ball shape.
  5. Divide the “ball” into 6 parts and make a “sausage” out of each.
  6. Put the “sausages” on a baking dish, grease them with another beaten egg and bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes at 350°F.
  7. Cool them down and slice them carefully. After that bake them for 10 more minutes.

Sugar cookies
Sugar cookies are probably the simplest cookies that one can bake. The entire process takes no more than 25 minutes and it is practically impossible to spoil them even if you have never made any cookies before.
Ingredients
  1. Butter 1 cup
  2. Sugar 1 ½ cups
  3. Egg 1
  4. Flour 2 ¾ cups
  5. Baking soda 1 tsp
  6. Baking powder ½ tsp
  7. Vanilla extract 1 tsp

Instructions
  1. Stir together flour, baking soda and baking powder in a small bowl.
  2. Beat butter and sugar with a mixer in another bowl, add an egg and vanilla extract.
  3. Carefully blend in the dry ingredients.
  4. Roll the dough and make small circle-shaped cookies out of it. Put them on a greased baking sheet.
  5. Bake for no more than 10 minutes at 375°F until they turn light golden. Bon appetit!
