Pasta salad is a well-known crowd pleaser, especially when you plan a large and spontaneous party outdoors. And it goes without saying that two pasta salads are better than one! Try them both before your family guests finish them.

Italian pasta salad with sweet corn
This salad is really frugal, because you can make it using some leftover products. Feel free to experiment and substitute some missing ingredients with others – pasta salad can be made or literary everything, that pairs with pasta. For example, this recipe is vegetarian, but it also tastes fine if you add chopped salami instead of bean sprouts.
Ingredients
  1. Pasta 1 lb.
  2. Mozzarella cheese balls 8 oz
  3. Cherry tomatoes 4 cups
  4. Black olives (sliced) ¾ cup
  5. Romano salad (cut into thin strips) ¼ cup
  6. Bean sprouts ½ cup
  7. Sweet Corn (canned) 12 oz
  8. Feta cheese (crumbled) optional
  9. Olive oil 1 tbsp
  10. Italian dressing 1 cup

Instructions
  1. Boil water in a large saucepan and cook pasta according to the instruction on the package. Then drain, add olive oil, stir and let pasta get a bit cool.
  2. Cut Mozzarella balls and cherry tomatoes in half. Drain the sweet corn.
  3. Mix all the ingredients together in a large bowl.
  4. Serve immediately or keep the salad in the fridge for a day or two.

Shrimp Pasta Salad
This salad tastes so fresh! Try it with Tartar sauce to make it more exquisite, or without if you prefer the pure shrimp taste, highlighted with lemon.
Ingredients
  1. Pasta ½ lb.
  2. Shrimp (small pink) 2 lb.
  3. Red bell pepper 1
  4. Red onion 1
  5. Garlic 1 clove
  6. Basil leaves (chopped) 1 cup
  7. Olive oil ⅓ cup
  8. Lemon zest 1 tsp
  9. Lemon juice ¼ cup
  10. Salt to taste
  11. Black pepper to taste
  12. Tartar sauce (optional) to taste

Instructions
  1. Cook pasta, following the directions on the package. Do not overcook! Drain pasta and transfer it into a large bowl.
  2. Cook the shrimp, then rinse and drain well. Put them into the bowl with pasta and mix well.
  3. Dice bell pepper and onion, mince garlic, and add them to pasta and shrimp.
  4. Add all the other ingredients and toss the salad.
  5. Chill the salad in the fridge for half an hour, then serve with Tartar sauce. This salad is can not be stored for longer than a day, so do not cook too much of it.
