Pasta Carbonara and Pasta Bolognese are possibly the two most famous dishes that are made of spaghetti. The former requires no more than 15-20 minutes to make and the latter takes quite a lot of time but both are so delicious that you will hardly be able to resist eating them, even if you are on a diet!
Pasta Carbonara

Pasta alla Carbonara originated in the Lazio region of Italy, the heart of which is Rome – the city one can easily fall in love with. With time a lot of variants of how to cook it appeared, and here we would like to share with you one of our favorites.
Ingredients
- Spaghetti 1 lb
- Bacon 0.3 lb
- Parmesan cheese 0.2 lb
- Eggs 3
- Heavy cream 6 tbsp
- Onions 1
- Olive oil 3 tbsp
- Salt
- Pepper

Instructions
- Slice the bacon and chop the onion. Pour 1 tablespoon of olive oil into a hot pan. Fry the bacon for 5-7 minutes until it gets transparent. Add the onion and fry for more 3 minutes.
- Boil the spaghetti in salted water until al dente and drain it.
- Grate the cheese.
- Separate the yolks from proteins (you will need 3 yolks and 1 protein). Beat the eggs, add 2 tablespoons of olive oil, pepper, heavy cream and one half of the grated cheese. Stir thoroughly.
- Mix the bacon and the onion with the spaghetti and gradually pour in the eggy sauce.
- Serve the pasta sprinkled with the other half of grated cheese.

Pasta Bolognese

Pasta Bolognese is called so because of its sauce, which actually does not look like a sauce but reminds you more of a stew.
Ingredients
- Spaghetti 1 lb
- Minced beef 0.6 lb
- Tomatoes 4
- Carrot 1
- Stemmed celery 0.5 tuft
- Garlic cloves 2-3
- Onion 1
- Parsley 0.5 tuft
- Olive oil 3 tbsp
- White wine 100 ml
- Parmesan cheese 0.2 lb
- Heavy cream 100 ml
- Sugar 2 tbsp
- Dried species
- Salt
- Pepper

Instructions
- Make the bolognese sauce as written in the Lasagna Bolognese recipe (steps 1 – 6, see below).
- Boil the spaghetti in salted water until al dente and drain it.
- Serve sprinkled with grated parmesan cheese.
