Instructions
  1. Cube the chicken breasts, slice the carrot and the celery, chop the onion.
  2. Put the chicken and the vegetables together with the grean peas onto a saucepan, add water so that it covers all the ingredients. Boil for 15-20 minutes.
  3. Strain the broth that you will get from the meat and the vegetables into a separate dish (we need 400 ml of broth). Drain the ingredients and set them aside.
  4. Preheat another saucepan and melt the butter in it. Add onions and cook until they become soft and translucent. Slowly stir in the broth and milk, add salt and pepper. Simmer the mixture until it gets thick.
  5. Place one pie crust to the bottom of the pot, add the chicken and the vegetables and pour in the hot liquid mixture. Cover the pot with another pie crust and cut the dough extending beyond the edges of the pot. Make a few slits in the pie so that the steam could come out.
  6. Bake the pie in the oven for 30-35 minutes at 425°F. Make sure that the crust is golden brown. Cool for a little bit before serving.
